Ontario Museum of
History & Art, Associates
Too busy to become a docent? The Museum has many opportunities that require little time but make a big difference. Become a part of a growing Museum and help educate our kids and preserve our history.
Family Discovery Days: Family, Fun and Learning All in One Afternoon.
Be a part of the experience that brings our special exhibits to life. Family Discovery Days are interactive experiences that allow Museum guests to further explore our exhibits. They give children a chance to create art and participate in one-of-a-kind activities. Family Discovery Day volunteers man tables and help guide guests, both young and old, through various activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in an afternoon.
Exhibit Installation: Handymen Needed. Be a Part of Building the Exhibits.
Every time we install a new exhibit we need gifted hands to help prepare the space, construct displays and stage exhibits. If you like to use your hands, or muscles, we could use your help.
Gallery Guides:
Gallery Guides are experts on a specific gallery exhibits. They help answer visitor's questions, create a more complete understanding of an exhibit and enhance the overall experience at the museum. Gallery Guides will be trained on a specific exhibit(s) to help guests enjoy their visit to the Ontario Museum of History & Art.
